Core Program
Levels 1 - 4
The Core Program begins formal classical ballet training and continues through Levels 1–8. Students develop technique progressively, with increasing expectations for alignment, terminology, musicality, artistry, discipline, classroom focus, and the ability to retain and apply corrections.
For many students, the Core Program will remain their primary pathway through the school. For others, it may serve as preparation for future consideration into the Professional Training Program.

Level 1 | Ages 8+
Level 1 marks the beginning of formal ballet training. Students develop posture, turnout awareness, port de bras, foot articulation, musicality, classroom etiquette, basic barre vocabulary, center organization, and the ability to retain simple corrections.
- Target Ages 8+ (Students must be 8 years of age by September 1st)
- 4 hours per week

Level 2 | Ages 9+
Transitions students from beginner to early intermediate training. Students strengthen terminology, alignment, musical phrasing, barre work, center combinations, across-the-floor coordination, and confidence applying corrections.

- 5 hours per week

Level 3 | Ages 10+
Deepens formal training and student responsibility. Students build stronger barre and center technique, more accurate port de bras and épaulement, French terminology, musical awareness, and independent correction retention.

Level 4
Serves as a bridge to more advanced ballet training. Students develop strength, flexibility, stamina, alignment, longer combinations, pointe readiness or beginning pointe work when appropriate, expanded vocabulary, and greater technical accountability. Ladies entering this level need to have a high level of self-discipline and the strength/alignment necessary for the introduction of pointe work.
Students in Level 4 have two training schedule options:
- The Recommended Schedule includes 9.5 hours per week. A more robust schedule with greater time commitment provides students with the optimal training time for expected progress.
- The Required Schedule* includes 7.5 hours per week. Having fewer training hours than the recommended schedule above, this schedule is designed for students who are not ready to commit to a more demanding schedule but would like to continue working toward refining their skill level.
All Level 4 students attend the following lessons:

- Tuesdays 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm (Ballet Technique) &

The Upper Division training becomes more complex by increasing layers to the technical base and vocabulary that were built throughout the Lower Division. Training schedules increase significantly illustrating the commitment necessary for continued growth at this level.

Level 5
Students entering this level need to possess a strong understanding of their current physical vocabulary and proper execution of that vocabulary, as well as a strong commitment to their training. Students in Level 5 work longer combinations while raising their level of execution. A major focus at this level is how they transition from step to step creating a better quality of movement. Ladies Pointe work includes more work on one leg, while gentlemen work on more specific male vocabulary.
Students in Level 5 have two training schedule options:
- The Recommended Schedule includes 14.5 hours per week. A more robust schedule with greater time commitment provides students with the optimal training time for expected progress.
- The Required Schedule includes 11 hours per week. Having fewer training hours than the recommended schedule above, this schedule is designed for students who are not ready to commit to a more demanding schedule but would like to continue working toward refining their skill level.
All Level 5 students attend the following lessons:

Level 6
Emphasizes independent training habits, personal accountability, goal setting, correction tracking, technical refinement, stronger pointe work, increased stamina, and artistic confidence. At the completion of this level, some students may be considered for the Professional Training Program.
Students in Level 6 have two training schedule options:
- The Recommended Schedule includes 15.5 hours per week. A more robust schedule with greater time commitment provides students with the optimal training time for expected progress.
- The Required Schedule* includes 12 hours per week. Having fewer training hours than the recommended schedule above, this schedule is designed for students who are not ready to commit to a more demanding schedule but would like to continue working toward refining their skill level.
All Level 6 students attend the following lessons:

Continues advanced Core Program training for students who want meaningful ballet study without the full time commitment of the Professional Training Program. Students continue developing technique, artistry, pointe work, musicality, conditioning, and confidence.
Students in Level 7 have two training schedule options:
- The Recommended Schedule includes 18 hours per week. A more robust schedule with greater time commitment provides students with the optimal training time for expected progress.
- The Required Schedule* includes 15.5 hours per week. Having fewer training hours than the recommended schedule above, this schedule is designed for students who are not ready to commit to a more demanding schedule but would like to continue working toward refining their skill level.
All Level 7 students attend the following lessons:
