What we did on summer vacation!
Ballet Arizona’s studios are packed and music fills every corner of the building as our Company Dancers return from their summer vacations. Join us as we welcome them home, celebrate their return and read about their summer adventures below.
Natalia Magnicaballi explored Portugal, making a special visit at Castelo dos Mouros in Sintra.
Jackson Dwyer mastered the art of selfies in Paris and tempted fate by skydiving in Arizona.
Rochelle Anvik traveled to Quebec City, Canada and visited her ancestor Gabriel Gosselin’s house from the 1600’s.
Amber Lewis explored her adopted state of Arizona, hiked Antelope Canyon and celebrated the 4th of July in typical American style.
Erick Garnica set a path through Europe. Stops in London and Paris were just a few destinations on his epic adventure.
Jessica Phillips, our Texas native, embraced nature as she explored San Diego, Colorado, and our neighbor to the north, Canada.
Mimi Tompkins took her adventurous spirit on the road (sky and water) with visits to Florida, London, Paris and and the Azores Islands.
Alison Remmers spent some quality time with her family in Maine, including beach days with her baby niece and hiking with her mom.
Arianni Martin and Alejandro Mendez caught up with family and friends in Cuba and explored Arizona’s Lake Pleasant Regional Park.
Eric Hipolito Jr. spent some time catching up with family and friends in his hometown of Seattle and participated in the annual Seattle to Portland bike ride benefiting the Cascade Bicycle Club and WA Bikes.
Welcome your favorite Phoenix dancers back in person September 21 – 30 as we kick off the season with free events & dance performances for the whole family in Phoenix and across the Valley. During our annual Ballet Under the Stars program, you’ll have a chance to see encores of George Balanchine’s “Square Dance” and “Western Symphony”.
