Catch a Show at the Historical Orpheum Theatre or Symphony Hall
If you are seeing a performance from our dancers, these theatres may already be on your list of places to visit. The Orpheum Theatre isn’t just a performance venue, it is a piece of history. Built in 1928, this theatre used to host vaudeville acts. Today, it is used for live theatre performances, touring Broadway productions, and concerts.
Symphony Hall, built in 1972 and designed by architect Charles Luckman, is a stunning performance venue that is home to Ballet Arizona, Arizona Opera, and The Phoenix Symphony.
There is Plenty to Do in Old Town Scottsdale

Camelback Mountain is a “must-see” sight for the experienced hiker or outdoorsman. This majestic mountain located just 20 minutes outside of Phoenix will take hikers and climbers up 1,280 feet. Once at the top of the summit, you will be treated to amazing views of Phoenix, Scottsdale, and other surrounding mountains.
If you aren’t an experienced hiker or climber, you can still enjoy Camelback Mountain. There are a number of scenic drives that will get you close enough to the mountain that you can capture some amazing photos.
See a Beautiful Collection of Desert Plants and Flowers by Visiting The Desert Botanical Garden
The Desert Botanical Garden is home to one of the largest collections of desert plants, trees, and flowers. It is estimated that when you visit this 140-acre garden you will be able to see 50,000 plants that come from Australia, South America, and the Californian desert.
See Butterflies Up Close and Personal at the Butterfly Wonderland
Butterfly Wonderland is an interactive exhibit that takes you on an adventurous walk through a rainforest-like habitat. While walking through the rainforest habitat you will see thousands of butterflies flying around. Some may even land on you! It is a fun and magical experience.

Explore a museum filled with thousands of different musical instruments from all over the world. In addition to having a collection of musical instruments from over 200 countries, the Musical Instrument Museum has regular concerts, special lectures, and hands-on activities throughout the year.
