Get social!

Make sure you are following Ballet Arizona on Instagram and Facebook. It may not be the social interaction we are all craving right now, but we are posting Every. Single. Day. You can follow along with our “Ballet From A to Z Challenge,” do a virtual storytime with your kiddos, and get a peek into the lives of our dancers.

Go behind-the-scenes!

Every week we are going live on Facebook and talking to the people that make Ballet Arizona happen. From Director of Production, Michael Panvini, to SBAZ faculty member and former company dancer, Chelsea Teel, you get an insight into the different parts of a ballet company. This week, hear from Accompanist, Larry Phibbs, talk about what it’s like to be a musician in the dance world. Missed our previous discussions? Click here to watch them.

Get those toes twinklin’!

Just because you’re home right now, does not mean you shouldn’t be able to enjoy taking a ballet class! The School of Ballet Arizona (SBAZ) is offering open classes on Zoom, which means whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, you can get your body moving. Click here to see the schedule and register.

Couch potato… but make it ballet!

If you are like us, you’ve probably have been spending this time at home watching a lot of movies. Added bonus for dance lovers, there are so many amazing movies to choose from. So whether you live for the drama or prefer documentaries, there is something for you. Check out our “Top 10 Ballet Movies You Need to Watch” for inspiration.

P.S. for all you documentary lovers, a new film Marius Petipa: The French Master of Russian Ballet is now available to stream.
