Shortly before his wedding day, a young farmer by the name of James dreams of a beautiful mythical creature known as a sylph. James falls in love with the sylph but is awoken suddenly. After being convinced that the sylph was not real, James precedes with the wedding preparations. Just moments before the wedding, the reappearance of the beautiful sylph has James rethinking whether or not he should go through with the ceremony.

Famous Romantic Ballet #4: Giselle
Giselle is a hauntingly beautiful romantic ballet. It tells the story of Giselle, a young woman who falls in love, only to be betrayed by her lover. Upon discovering her lover’s betrayal, Giselle dies of a broken heart.
In her death, Giselle is welcomed amongst the Willis, who are ghosts of young women who have died due to the betrayal of a loved one. The Willis thrive on tormenting the loved ones who betrayed them.
Famous Romantic Ballet #5: Swan Lake
A beautiful princess falls in love with a young prince. Unfortunately, due to a curse, the princess spends her days as a swan but can transform into a human at night. One evening, the princess tells the prince that there is a way to break the curse – by pledging loyalty to her and marrying her. The prince does just that, but the evil sorcerer will do his best to make sure he doesn’t lose his beloved swan princess.
Swan Lake is a four-act ballet with synchronized dancing, beautiful and moving music, and a tale of good vs. evil that is filled with betrayal, forgiveness and a love that is everlasting.
