Before a ballet class or dance exercise, it’s important to loosen up the muscles you will be using in class. Warming up before a dance class should include a small workout and some stretching, but don’t overstretch. Keep the warmup to 10 minutes or less, so you don’t tire yourself out. A great warmup routine can help you dance better, get in the proper mindset, and help you stay injury-free.
