It is because of your generosity and patronage that Ballet Arizona is able to bring ballet to the stage, train aspiring dancers aged 3 to 83, educate students across the valley about the arts, and use dance to connect and inspire people all over Arizona.
When I first started volunteering at the ballet I used to ask individual dancers what his/her favorite ballet was, and many told me, “Don Q.” When I finally saw the ballet, I loved it. I would enjoy seeing it again. Of course, I may have been brainwashed by the dancers!
As a little girl I had lots of energy. As my brothers would explore the backyard in Heber, Arizona, I was destined to join them. I became the biggest tomboy ever. I was happiest when muddy and dirty and loved acting like a boy alongside my brothers.
