“My love and passion for the art of ballet exceeds words. Volunteering for Ballet Arizona helps me satisfy that passion.” – Ed Coyoli
Ballet Arizona offers specialized community dance classes for people with Parkinson’s disease in collaboration with Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. Dance is a stimulating mental activity that connects the mind and body; it breaks isolation and helps to tell stories.
Ballet Arizona’s studios are packed and music fills every corner of the building as our Company Dancers return from their summer vacations. Join us as we welcome them home, celebrate their return and read about their summer adventures.
It is because of your generosity and patronage that Ballet Arizona is able to bring ballet to the stage, train aspiring dancers aged 3 to 83, educate students across the valley about the arts, and use dance to connect and inspire people all over Arizona.
When I first started volunteering at the ballet I used to ask individual dancers what his/her favorite ballet was, and many told me, “Don Q.” When I finally saw the ballet, I loved it. I would enjoy seeing it again. Of course, I may have been brainwashed by the dancers!
Dance comes in all shapes, sizes and there is no limit to who can experience it and the emotions it brings out of you. As a dancer, dance can bring you pure joy and the incredible feeling of accomplishment when you’ve danced your best on-stage.
It’s your turn to take a bow! Your support gives us strength. Your generosity helps achieve greatness. You make our work on stage and in our community possible. For this and so much more, we thank you.
“Ballet Arizona has grown to become one of the top ballet institutions in America. It has been a great experience to witness the development.” – John and Oonagh Boppart
